Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

Shipping And Handling

Whatever you end up buying from the web site we know that this delivery becomes both urgent and valuable to you, so we use the Royal Maill to make sure that you receive your purchase in good time and with adequate cover. We are only too aware that you want the confidence to rely upon a guaranteed delivery service for both speed and care. Once the item has left Inside and Outside it will generally be given a tracking number from the provider which is passed directly to the customer so that they are able to the progress. The item is then subject to the terms and conditions of the service provider once dispatched. For items sent via the Royal mail see their tracking system. Deliveries can take between 3-5 working days to arrive using the Royal Mail but we've found that it's much quicker than this.

Recycling. Where possible Inside and Outside uses packaging that has been used before in an attempt to help with environmental issues. Only packaging in good condition will be used.

Delivery Schedule

If the order is placed in time the aim is to dispatch the delivery immediately to be received by you as soon as possible. However we can only deliver within 3 working days to some remote areas including Scottish islands such as Orkney, Skye and Mull. All delivery dates quoted are forecasts and shall not be legally binding. Time of delivery shall not be the essence of any contract.

Claims for non-delivery or short consignment must be made within 5 days of the invoice date. Damage and short consignment must be signed for as such damaged and Carew and Pembroke notified immediately, otherwise Carew and Pembroke is unable to accept liability for lost or damaged items.

In the event of any order being cancelled a 20% handling charge will be made if the order has been processed in any manner. A charge for all costs incurred will be made in the event of orders being cancelled after the goods have been dispatched.

Many of the products are delivered to your door by a carrier. If no-one is in when the carrier calls a card will be left asking you to contact them at their local depot. You can then arrange for another delivery date with the carrier direct. If no contact is made within 14 days, parcels will be returned and an additional charged will be raised for the items to be re-sent.

Back Orders

Everything that you see on the site is available for you to order.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero.

Credit Card Security

Inside and Outside uses Secure Trading to action all transactions from this site. Inside and Outside know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any part of this web site.

It should be noted that items will only be sent to customers when the Barclays Merchant Services response reports 'ALL MATCH' which means that the information sent to the acquiring bank was valid and that the transaction has passed their security checks. For security reasons the delivery address must be the same as the credit card holders address unless the holder has a business account.

If there is a miss-match the account will be reimbursed and the customer will be e-mailed immediately so that they are able to replace the order.

One of the main worries - and rightly so - of any shopper using an online shop is: "Is it safe to send my card details across the internet?". The Secure Trading e-payment network uses digital signatures and strong encryption to ensure that all sensitive information is protected throughout the payment process.

All goods are supplied by Inside and Outside on the condition that our liability for any fault or defect in the quantity, condition, description or fitness for any purpose is limited in the amount to the sum not exceeding the wholesale purchase price of the particular goods.

Claims for damage in transit must be made to Inside and Outside within 5 days of delivery. No claims can be considered after 5 days

The Company do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfill customer orders

d. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases
e. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Returns Policy

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of the goods, without giving a reason. You must bear the costs of returning the goods to us. A refund will be given immediately we receive the goods in good condition (less postage).

Any custom made items cannot be returned to Carew and Pembroke unless they are damaged or faulty.

You must tell us about any loss or damage giving rise to a claim within 7 days of the date we collected the Consignment and confirm it by notice in writing within 18 days of the date we collected the Consignment. If loss or damage is notified on a consignment note or ESCD you must still comply with this Condition.
